Seminar on Nanoplasmonics and Optoelectronics

On 30 th July, 2019, IEEE UIU Student Branch organized a ‘Seminar on Nanoplasmonics and Optoelectronics’. Nanoplasmonic, coherent interaction between photons and electrons results into unprecedented and unique characteristics that make the realm behind so promising in various applications (e.g. photovoltaic, molecule detection, gas sensor, catalyst, hydrogen production, etc.) that were not realized before. Here in this talk, fundamental and experimental works carried out so far was shared so that a mutual platform could be outlined to move forward in terms of new research and innovation, possible collaboration and development of new generation capable to fundamental breakthroughs. The keynote speaker of the seminar was – Dr. Mohammad Kamal Hossain, Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering and Center of Research Excellence in Renewable Energy (CoRERE), King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), KSA. The event was free for all.
