IEEE UIU Student Branch was host to IEEE Bangladesh Section’s biggest event, “IEEE BDS Student/YP/WIE Congress 2015” in the previous year. IEEE UIU SB also initiated IEEE BDS SB Ex-Com Summit in 2015 in association with IEEE Bangladesh Section, where all the Student Branch executives gathered for the purpose of networking with each other, sharing their activities and other related issues.
IEEE UIU Student Branch has decided to publish a magazine which is an open platform for the students and teachers of United International University to share their knowledge and experiences
IEEE UIU SB won the Most Inspiring Student Branch-2014 Award and Prof. Dr. Khawza I. Ahmed, Ex-Counselor of IEEE UIU SB, won the Most Inspiring Counselor-2014 Award of IEEE Bangladesh Section.
